Work at Home Moms Campaign for Breast Cancer Awareness Begins

Since 2003, InternetBasedMoms.com has participated in Breast Cancer Awareness Month at and this year the tradition continues. Breast Cancer Awareness month is traditionally in October, but the website provides information to women and participates in fundraisers all year round. Since last November 1, 2003, the website has raised over $1000 for breast cancer charities. They hope to raise that total significantly this October.

Some components of the breast cancer awareness event include:

• Information and the facts about breast cancer.
• Fundraising directory that lists the site's breast cancer fundraisers and the fundraisers of other mom-owned businesses.
  
• Stories about inspirational work at home moms that have survived breast cancer.
• Pink ribbons for website owners that want to support the event.

According to Alice Seba, owner of InternetBasedMoms.com, "Each year, I meet more and more women affected by breast cancer. I know what I'm doing isn't earth shattering and won't end breast cancer all on its own. That's why I'm calling all mothers and online entrepreneurs to help spread the word and raise money to put an end to this disease."
